Serves: 6
Recipe:
1 about 1.5-2 cups dates, pitted
2 1/2 cup nut butter (I used almond)
3 1/2 cup chocolate chips
4 1 Mexican hot chocolate mezcla bar (or the peanut butter chocolate one!)
5 Pinch of sea salt
Method:
1 Lay out your pitted dates on parchment paper
2 Lay another piece of parchment paper over the dates and smoosh them down with a glass to form one big piece
3 Spread the almond butter over the dates
4 Melt your chocolate chips (use 1 tsp of coconut oil to make it really smooth)
5 Spread the chocolate over the dates and almond butter
6 Top with the mezcla bar and a pinch of sea salt
7 Freeze for 30 min- 1 hour. Break apart and enjoy! Store these in the fridge or the freezer 🫶🏼.
