This shrimp recipe is seriously so quick and easy. It has a nice mix of sweet and salty from the honey and coconut aminos. I loved putting this on top of a salad, but I think it would be so good with rice and broccoli as well. I recommend marinating the shrimp for about 2 hours before cooking!
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut aminos
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced (can sub about 1 tsp store-bought minced)
Green onions to serve (I had fresh parsley I needed to use)
Method:
1. Combine everything besides the shrimp in a bowl.
2. Pour half of the mixture into a baggie with the shrimp and allow to marinate in the fridge for about an hour.
3. Heat avocado oil or olive oil on a skillet at medium-high heat.
4. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 1 min on each side.
5. Add the remainder of the sauce and let heat for 1-2 minutes.
6. Top with green onion. and enjoy!
