Now that it is finally starting to get warm, I am in the mood for smoothies again. This recipe is a fun one to use when you want to take a bit more time and level up your smoothie routine. The matcha is completely optional if you do not have it on hand. I love topping my smoothies with a crunch and extra fun things to make it more of a meal replacer rather than a snack. I like to ensure that there is some form of protein, fat, etc. in every smoothie!
For the Smoothie:
1 1/2 cups frozen banana
1 cups frozen mango
3/4 cup frozen spinach
1 cup frozen cauliflower
1 tbsp matcha powder
1 cup almond milk
1 aloe & irish sea moss blender bomb (optional)
Water as needed for consistency
Optional Toppings:
Granola
Sliced Banana
Sliced Mango
Honey
Method:
1.Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until a smooth, thick consistency.
2.Add the smoothie base to a bowl or cup and top with any toppings you like!
